Dara Barth was born and raised in eastern Massachusetts and attended college in Rhode Island at Roger Williams University graduating with a degree in architecture. She moved to Colorado in 1999 and started a family in 2000, raising her two children, Henry and Matilda, in Glenwood Springs with her husband Bruce. Dara taught Art at St. Stephens for two years in grades K through 8, discovered a love of teaching, and then made the transition to become a classroom teacher. She graduated from the Teacher Program at the University of Colorado Denver, receiving her teacher’s license this summer. After teaching 3rd grade for 4 years now, she says “I can say that I truly do have the best job in the world. I am so happy to be teaching at such a wonderful school."
